The Unborn: A disappointment
I expected the unborn to be a good horror movie but it really disappointed me as it turned out be another teen movie. I think the movie is best suited for the high school going students. Frankly I am tired of seeing scary faces coming from here and there, I guess there are over thousand movies where you have this type of scenes. Yes, it was scarier when we watched for the first time but not anymore. There is nothing new about the story where you can even expect what will happen next.
The demon gets a body but without any reason loses it and looks for the new body. The heroine Casey Beldon used to see things and is having dreams. Without any reason the demon wants to be born again. The kid in the neighborhood is acting strange and the baby when glanced at the mirror dies. In the movie I didn’t understood as why the animals’ head were turned upside down. There is a major use of the mirrors in the movie which I think they took the concept from Mirrors in 2008. But in that movie the main aim of using mirrors was to scare away the ghosts. I just don’t understand if you are strong why you want to be born again. Casey is facing a stronger demon and most of the times the things can be predicted so easily.
